Born and raised in the Seaside/Astoria area, Cindy earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Clatsop Community College. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for 15+ years.
Directly out of college, she worked at Teddy Bear Daycare in Scappoose for three years. She was the Owner of The Tot Spot Daycare/Preschool in St. Helens for ten years and has been the Director of Grace Christian Children’s Center since September 2009.
Cindy lives in Scappoose and has two children, Hayden and Kendall. When not working, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family and scrapbooking.
Trudy has been working at Grace Christian Children’s Center since 2009. Prior to Grace Christian, she worked 14+ years at SonShine Preschool, and Snoopeeland, both in St. Helens.
She is a member of a local church in St. Helens and has led their Sunday School and organized their annual children’s program for the past few years.
Trudy lives in St. Helens with her husband, Larry. They have one son (David), three daughters (Adrien, Shannon and Allison), six granddaughters and one grandson. When she is not working, Trudy enjoys crafting, drinking lattes, and pampering herself with pedicures and massages.
Julie has been working at Grace Christian Children’s Center since 2008. Before that she spent 26 years as an in-home childcare provider.
Julie and her husband “David” live in Scappoose. They have two daughters (Jessica and Allison) and one son (Dustin). They also have 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. When not working, Julie enjoys camping, canning and spending time with her family.
Allison has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education at Grace Christian Children’s Center since 2010..
She lives in St. Helens with her boyfriend “Brinden”. She has one stepson, “Hunter” and a daughter, “Braelynn Mychael”. Allison has one brother and one sister. She also has one nephew.
When not working, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, camping and watching Disney movies!
Suzy has been employed at Grace Christian Children’s Center since 2010. Prior to Grace Christian she volunteered as a “Teacher’s Aide” and Sunday School Teacher at Christ the Cornerstone Church in San Diego, California.
Suzy lives in Scappoose with her husband, John. They have a son, William and a daughter, Emma. When not working, Suzy enjoys walking her dog, going to the farmer’s market and reading.
Alisha joined our Grace Christian Children’s Center team in June 2016. Her previous employment included being the Owner of Figaro’s Pizza in Scappoose. Her husband Mark is the current Pastor of a local church where Alisha also serves.
She was born in California and raised in Bend, Oregon but has spent the past 14 years in Scappoose. Alisha and her husband, Mark have four daughters, one son and 13 grandchildren. When not working, Alisha enjoys traveling and camping.
Kim has been working for Grace Christian Children’s Center since April 2014. Prior to Grace Christian, she worked as a caregiver at Rose Valley Assisted Living in Scappoose. She is a member of Scappoose Foursquare Church.
Kim lives in St. Helens with her husband “Nick” and their four children, Tessa, Kyle, and twins Briana and Alyssa.
When not working, Kim enjoys camping, shopping and going to the beach.
Tessa has been a member of Grace Christian Children’s Center since August 2016. She was born in Portland, Oregon and graduated from St. Helens High School in 2016.
Tessa lives in St. Helens with her Dad (Nick), Mom (Kim), Sisters (Briana & Alyssa) and Brother (Kyle). When not working, Tessa enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing her guitar.Tessa attends Portland Community College and is studying the field of Forensic Science.
Hayden joined the Grace Christian Children’s Center team in September 2017. He is currently a Senior at Scappoose High School.
Hayden lives in Scappoose with his Mom (Cindy) and his sister (Kendall). When not working, Hayden enjoys playing video games, and listening to music. He is also an avid sports fan!
Anne has been a member of the Grace Christian Children’s Center team since September 2017. She was born in Corvallis, Oregon and raised in Portland, Oregon.
Anne lives in Scappoose with her husband, Bill. Between the two of them they have 11 children and 4 grandchildren. When not working, Anne enjoys spending time with her family, 4-wheeling, camping and woodworking.
Christa has been a member of the Grace Christian Children’s Center staff since January 2018. She was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and moved to Oregon in 1999.
Christa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Portland State University in 2009. Her past employment includes serving as a Teacher at Snoopeeland Child Care Center in St. Helens, an Instructional Reading Assistant at St. Helens and Scappoose High Schools and an Activity Coordinator at Brookdale Assisted Living in Scappoose.
Christa lives in Scappoose with her two children, Kayla and Brooklyn. When not working, Christa enjoys reading, being outdoors, crocheting and crafts.
Gracie joined our GCCC team in August 2018. She was born and raised in St. Helens. She lives with her dad (Rod), mom (Erin), brother (Levi), and sister (Anna).
Gracie is a Senior at Scappoose High School and a member of the OSET (Oregon High School Equestrian Team). She has a quarter horse named “Cally”. Her plans after graduation include attending Portland Community College. When not at work, Gracie enjoys riding her horse and reading.
Bryann became a staff member at Grace Christian Children’s Center in August 2018.
Bryann and her husband, “Jason” live in Scappoose. They have three children, Paige, Layne and Weston. They also have a dog named “Rocky”, a cat named “Sebastian”, a hedgehog named “Sam”, a rabbit named “Speedy” and four chickens! When not working, Bryann enjoys gardening, canning and finding new adventures to do with her kids!
Emma Fouts was re-hired at Grace Christian Children’s Center in October 2018 after spending a year in Germany as an “Au Pair” (Nanny). Emma was previously employed at GCCC from September 2015 to 2017.
Emma lives in Scappoose with her mother, “Suzy” and her father “John”. She is currently a student at Portland State University working towards her Masters in “Communication”. Upon completion she would love to work and live in Germany.
When not working, Emma enjoys hanging out with her friends, hiking and playing soccer.
